Halloween/Thanksgiving/And In Between

I know it is kind of late but here are the girls at Halloween but also Thanksgiving and in between the two! We are all doing fine and are now 75% decorated for Christmas......it appears that 99.9% of folks down here are ready for Christmas the week before Thanksgiving! It has been fun since are old decorations don't fit the "theme" of the new house so Molly and I have been having fun! The girls are great and getting big. Kaitlin can talk a little.....Molly makes up for the rest of the time Kaitlin isn't babbling! They love their new play set and love being outside. It has got cold but it was 73 on Thanksgiving which was odd but we enjoyed it! Anyhow.....we will try to post some pictures as we progress into the next holiday.

Molly's Halloween Dance

Molly is enrolled in dance classes, and this was their first showcase, a chance to see what she's been learning. Shake that tailfeather kiddo! Oh, and have we mentioned that's a wig?

Well I can hardly believe it is the end of October! We are getting used to NC and our house is finally coming together! Molly loves her school and Kaitlin loves going to Mom's Day Out once a week. We are enjoying the many activities and festivals NC has to offer! In the pictures you can see the girls having fun....they are getting big! Kaitlin is a whopping 26lbs!

Where have we been?

I know it has been a while since we updated this page. We have been quite busy!
The girls and I hit the road with Mike one day and visited Raleigh. Our sate capital was full of history and fun! Molly and Kaitlin loved the Natural Sciences Museum...and DC isn't the only place where museums are free! Molly and Kaitlin loved the free buffet at the Hampton Inn...you got to put stuff in special ovens. The also loved the free snacks in the lobby. We got to see our friends the Hayners.
Molly started school while I was on a business trip....but Mike held down the fort with his Dad and not only did she wear the right outfit, he also took pictures! After her first day she went to her first ballet class. Mike survived the putting on of the tights and leotard as well as pulling her hair back into a bow! Way to go Dad! Molly and her best friend Sawyer go to class at Broadway Dreams.....we hope these dreams come true! Molly like tap better than ballet....she wants to wear the tap shoes all the time.
Kaitlin started Moms Day Out. She is enjoying her experience.....although she says bye bye the whole time they are packing her up.
The following week Rosie and Papa came to town. We had lots of fun with them. We headed to the mountains and ended up in Blowing Rock. It is beautiful! We had lots of fun hanging out with them.
Our next adventure was to Lazy 5 Ranch with Drew, Garret and Kate. It was crazy...animals came up to your car throughout this hour long trek through the woods. We hadn't even gotten through the gate and Mommy, Kaitlin and Molly were screaming at the Emu who poked his head in at us.
As you can see between the travel and visits we have been busy. In between I have posted pictures of what we like to do for fun! Cleaning, hanging out with Vivian and Henry (our neighbors), riding bikes...being silly!

Molly

Molly loves our new neighborhood. As I have said she rides everywhere in the cul-de-sac. She waves to the workers and neighbors...she is the Mayor of Sugar Mill Road! But each day she hunts down Mr. Don and his father-in-law Mr. Eddie. We bring them snacks, juice boxes, picutres and letters....you name it. Molly will make me wait outside during Kaitlin's nap for them...today it was 125% humidity and 89 degrees! We waited and waited but no sign of Mr. DOn. His van was here but he wasn't. So, Molly enjoyed digging and cleaning up debris in Miss Vivian and Mr. Henry's yard.....of course in a dress!
